water pump difference

Do the water pump from ls1 from a F-body and a LS1 from a Corvette are the same? I'm thinking about the accessories alignment.

Yeah its pretty much the samething other than a pulley but it will work

The acc on a F-Body I believe sits a bit further than the C5s. Everything else pretty much is the same and should work good unless I misread your question. Lol

So I can use a F-body one in a Y-body and vice versa without any kind of misalignment problems with the accessories?

The accessory drives are 1" closer to the engine with the Corvette stuff than the F body stuff and if I remember correctly .5" between the Corvette and GTO.

But the pulley surface is wide enough you could likely be ok. Try a google search of this site and I'm pretty sure you will find people who have used them.
