Ok so I followed the directions of LS1-450. Can you guys confirm this is correct and that I am good to go. I do not want oil in the intake or throttle body.

it is hard to see here but I have a 90 degree elbow from the rear driver side port connected to a hose that connects to the catch can.

It's correct. Just remember that you're getting additional air through the breather. May not be as much of an issue with your SD tune as it would be otherwise.

Oh, & install an in-line fuel filter in the line from the valve cover to the TB or oil may enter the intake through that line when it's venting.

Sorry, for the double post.

So this set up must have pushed some oil into my intake. After some hard runs I noticed after starting the car after sitting for a bit, I had smoke out the exhaust. I never had this until this weekend after hooking up the catch can. I have yet to install a filter inline. I would think the line that goes directly into the side of the intake would push the oil in, not the TB line. I could be wrong. Also I am still pushing up the dip stick. I don't know how much more venting I can do. The oil breather cap should be enough no?

Just had a thought....I am probably going to pull off my intake to clean it. I might as well do the LS6 valley cover swap while its off. Will this solve all my issues and is the valley cover the only thing needed? I have also read that my ls1 style coolant crossover will not fit with the ls6 valley cover. If this is the case maybe I wont swap, I like the old ls1 crossover system much better.
