Default bought a 'new' car, having problems with SES light

Ok guys I cant figure this out, need some ideas.

Bought a 2000 camaro with 130k on it. All it has is an slp air lid and flow master catback exhaust. I have a lot of plans for the car over the winter but for now I just want the dang SES light off with out spending a ton of cash.

Found out the last owner had a 5 wire truck MAF with adaptor harness on it. It was throwing a p0174 and p0172. I replaced it with another truck maf. Drove around trying to get it to set the evap, cat, air ready monitors. While I was doing that it started to throw a p0175 and p0172. So I kept driving and now I have a p0102. While driving the p0175/72 codes kept going from pending to stored turning the SES light on and off a few times.

Im trying to figure out what my problem is. Should I just get a stock ls1 maf and try that? I dont know the history of the car or mods either. Just need it with no codes and to set the last 3 monitors so I can pass inpspection!

thanks

Ya I don't know if having the truck maf REQUIRES tuning to make it right. (I know it's always recommended to retune after a mod) but right now I just want it legal so I can drive it this summer before swapping in my lq4 motor.

Went out this morning and put a new stock ls1 maf on it. Started getting codes for all 4 o2 sensor heater circuits....fml.

Then ripped the trans mount in half, I'm having some crap luck with this car. I'm almost ready to buy headers and full exhaust and have all these issues tuned out.

The fuse for eng sensor blew. That fuse gives power to the maf, o2 heaters and other things.
Trace the wires from the maf for damage.

Kyle, I would suggest what GMRL said. Atleast check it. I had a similar issue when i was doing my engine swap with the codes. Mine turned out to be the wrong o2 sensor was hooked up. Did you purchase the car with the light on? Maybe he could have had something connected wrong. Are the o2 codes the only codes its throwing now? if so, maybe all your o2's are bad... its a possibility. At this point, If you are going to spend the money on new o2's, you might as well double it and get some headers and a ORY. Let me know if you need some help.
BTW this is Mike H.

Checked and sure enough the fuse was blown. Going to trace some wires for the o2 sensors and check for a short.

I'm sure that's what was causing the o2 codes and the p0102 but I'm thinking the p0172/5 codes were in there before. Ill fix the fuse/wiring and go from there

Ok guys got the heater circut codes fixed. The fuse was blow and wires down by the o2 were grounded out.

Still have 3 codes to deal with tho. P0172 p0175 p0102. Car runs fine. This is all with the truck maf. I took the maf off my daily and put it in the car just to make sure I didn't get a bad part and I get the same results! Still won't set the evap, cat, air monitors...
