Flowtech Coated Lts+ORY
Flowtech Coated Lts+ORY Anybody have any expierence w/ them? How do they sound/flow? How do they appear, (welds, collecters)? And how did they install?

i have flowtech lt's..the welds are ok..nothing spectacular about them..they are kinda sloppy welds, they don't look bad..and they sound damn good on the car, i am putting a spintech muffler on to quiet things down a bit..i did get the uncoated headers, and bought some vht 1500 degree header paint and painted the headers and y-pipe to prevent rust..to ceramic coating is not worth the extra 100 bucks, because in 6 months its peeling off anyway..

I personally have problems with mine as others do. The drivers side header flange appears to be warped. It dosent sit flush against the head. To get it to seal, I had to use 2 gaskets and high temp sealer. All seems well now.

i did not have any leaking problems on my flowthech's...thank god...
i did however put a straigt edge across the flange part to see if it was warped or mis-aligned..lucky for me it wasn't...i would recomend that to everyone..so you don't find out until you have them on the car and find out they are warped..then you are stuck with them..just a little heads up...
