Pics of my Hooker catback installed....

I am about to switch over to the same set-up as you, Kooks/Cats/Hooker, and IMO this is one of the best combos. It sounds soooooo bad *** and its pretty loud, but not obnoxious un-tuned loud (like LM with LT's). Did you check out LS1Sounds' clips of Kooks/Hooker? Also, I would love to see what kind of numbers you made after swapping and then after the headers too! Kooks make the most power (I have heard), and Hooker flows really well, so you should make great power.

I am pretty sure it will sound incredible with LTs and a Y pipe

hooker is quiet my friend had is on his t/a without cats and 3" ypipe and my flowmaster with everything stock was a lot louder. loud mouth is too high pitched for me and too raspy. i said screw it and forked out the extra money for GMMG so now my friend wants to sell his hooker lol

hooker+LT+ORY = whoa.
I've already been tagged by a local copper because the car sounds ridiculously loud sub-speed limit when the SSF3500 isn't locked up. freakin monster. Then the 700rpm idle with the 112 cam, yeah. Lately it has sounded less loud for some reason. It may be the inevitable urge to upgrade (boredom).
What i like about the setup though, is that at idle, say 900rpm (a4) the car is really quieter than my damn 4 cylinder vw (corrado g60). The vw would shake the windows with a loud resonance, this beast of a v8 just kinda rumbles, its when you tap that GAS the hooker gets buck wild and everyone starts looking crazy at you (i live in the city, muscle cars aren't common, the apt manager knew there was only two cars that could do the burnouts in the driveway, and the other dude is on ls1tech too lol).
