I'd also suggest long tubes, especially with that budget.

PaceSetters can be had for less than $250, TSP/Speed Engineering y-pipe is $150, plugs/wires under $100, and mail order tune from Frost for $150. I'd also do poly motor mounts while you have the exhaust off ($50). I'd throw a ported throttle body in there for good measure, too (Potz; less than $100).

After that, I'd save for a LS6 intake/pcv conversion.

What bolt ons are you refering to? Engine or suspension?? What"s more important to you right now?

I went the different route. I started with suspension first. Found a set of Koni 4/4 on Craigslist for $400, ordering strano springs tomorrow $250 with SFC $180, adjustable panhard $110. Then ill have a better handling car to handle the extra HP from power parts... just my $.02

Id say long tubes. I went with bbk 1 3/4 ceramic coated and couldnt be happier with them.

x13850043004 on the long tubes. will make the car sound much better which imo makes it more enjoyable to drive not to mention down the road there necessary for any other engine mod (cam, heads, etc). As far as price I really don't think you could go wrong with the Texas speed headers and Off road Y for stainless pieces. I have SLP on mine but only because I bought them from a member who never used them and they were brand new. Frost tune is prob your best bet as far as tuning unless you have someone locally who will dyno-tune for reasonable amount. may want to save up and do intake (ls6) and headers at same time to save a little on tuning costs
