Stock cats in BBK y-pipe
piece is made to bolt up with factory cats. Don't know
whether that is the case with the BBK, or not.
The hollow cats were a bit "boomy" around 2000-2500
RPM, as I recall.
Thanks though.
Yea I've been looking at those for if I decide to keep it "legal" but I haven't decided yet. Either way it's being tuned once I get the headers because I'm gonna do an LS6 intake manifold at the same time, which obviously removes the EGR.
Thats the only problem is I've read on a couple different threads on here that the stock y-pipe is 2.25 inches all the way up to 2.75 inches, which confused me. But the flange idea is pretty good. May just do that.

the cats are constant diameter and does not change. what changes is only the Y pipe diameters. on the driver side it becomes more of an oval shape before it mergers with the other side.
I was going to do flanges just for inspection but my car passed without cats here in middle east. i think its an easy, cheap long term way. so why not!
