Corsa, Borla or SLP Dual Corsa, Borla or SLP Dual. im looking for a pretty quite system, i want a lot of rumble when its idle and i want it to burrble when i downshift, but i dont want it to sound sloppy in higher rpms but i want it to be loud. i will probly be getting some mid-lenght headers down the road. what do u guys think i should get?
i looked through ls1sounds, but most of the cars had headers and y-pipes and i wanna know what they will sound like with just cat back

From the three choices you give the Corsa would be your best bet I belive. The Borla is loud at all times if you run it with the open plate. The Dual Dual is a pretty quiet system at all times. I had a Borla cat-back with stock manifolds and it sounded pretty good. When I went to headers and no cats that's when it got loud inside the car and out.

yes,it is called the SLP Dual/Dual......Like stated before Borla and Corsa will net more sound on stock manifolds and cats,but Borla will be very raspy with headers.You cant go wrong with any of those choices.Borla is adjustable,SLP is very nice for late night drives when no extra attention is wanted.Corsa is a very nice cat back but has had muffler problems.....My entires exhaust setup cost me $360.Macs,o/r pipe,cutout,and Dual/Dual.
I am on my 3rd exhaust set up, I absolutely love the SLP dual/dual system. It's very mellow, has a nice bark to it at WOT. I get all kinds of compliments wherever I go with the car. A local guy I know has a Corsa system on his car - too european sounding IMO. Something is just not right about the exhaust note of his car. The Borla, sounds OK on a car w/ cats & manifolds as stated above. But, sounds like *** w/ LT's, an ORY, and the open plate. Sounds pretty good w/ the solid plate and the exhaust going completely through the muffler though.
All just my $0.02 though, you have to pick what sounds best to your ears.

Im like my Borla although it is a little raspy under WOT I haven't had a chance to uncap it yet. But the only thing I don't like is the location of the plate It is a PITA to get to.Almost forgot my car has LT's and ORY. I think JRP had an exhaust write up in one of these forums Its very good and non biased 
dual duals with a cutout is one of the best sounding things I have EVER heard...+ my buddy Jeff who got me on this boards has dual duals with longtubes + ORY and it sounds pretty good, it's still pretty quiet but it sounds good
Borla!! One of my first mod's when i bought the car new back in Oct 99.
since then with the LT/ORY & Twister bullett. For me personally it is one of the best sounding exhaust notes IMO.
As mentioned above, a "little" raspy @ WOT.
Other than that. I love em....
