Default Knockoff SLP smooth bellow?

Does anybody make a knockoff of the SLP smooth bellow? I need a new bellow with a thin wall to mount my nitrous fogger nozzle in and I don't wanna pay $63 plus shipping to get one. I've got a Fernco and the rubber hump one like people use on here and I think the walls on those are too thick. Are there any other companies I can get a thin wall coupler that will work?

Look on ebay. I just picked up one for half the cost of the SLP piece.

No need to spend money on something you can make for under 10 bucks.

Are you comparing a POS thick-walled plumbing coupler to something that is actually design specifically for a purpose. I've owned a smooth coupler since about my join date over there <------- and I've held Fernco couplers and there is NO comparison. I have a knock off I bought off Ebay BTW.

I've had a Fernco and currently have the hump one from intakehoses.com. The Fernco trimmed to fit I don't like because the angle it sits on there is only about a 1/4" over the bottom of the throttle body. The hump one from intakehoses.com I have trimmed and trimmed to make sure it isn't pushed up against the back of the throttle body. The tension from the hump and the angle its sitting between the MAF and TB is pushing on my air lid and won't let it sit correctly. Both also have a thick wall that I'm not crazy about when I install my fogger nozzle through one of them.

Any specific info on you guys running these ebay ones? I'd like to get one to see if it helps with my lid fitment. Currently my stock piece pushes pretty hard against the back of the SLP lid, not sure if it is sealing or not. I like the idea of being able to trim an aftermarket one to fit if need be and would like to know which ones you guys have if you like them and they fit.

I have one and I tried installing it yesterday and the damn thing is too long.. the Lid cant snap in... so I may have to trim one side in order for it to fit.

So probably avoid that one. Do you have a link to where you bought it?

I was looking at this one. Sure cant beat the price, would just like to know whether or not its a complete POS though.

I'm actually part of eBay Security Assesment Division. Yes that is illegal to post and I'm going to have to ask you to pay a false advertising claim to my department for $35.

I will send you an IM with my PayPal account.

Oops, sorry Chad. I don't have a PayPal account. Can I mail you a check with someone else's name on it?

I'm just not sure what the forum rules are regarding this thing.

Anyway, for 26 bucks..... but how come they all have that round bulge in them? What's the deal with that?

A long time ago my local home store sold the exact same connector as a smooth bellow essentially, Same thickness, material and the inside was smooth as glass. I never bought it since I had no use for it at the time but Im just suggesting that if someone is on a really tight budget there are some options out there.

A friend of mine has an SLP one on his WS6 and its a little too long and is pushing on his air lid keeping one of the clamps from latching. It just needs a little trimming and will be fine. Nothing like the extensive trimming I've done on the intakehoses.com one I have and mine is still keeping my lid from seating right.

Thanks lemons12, I saw that above. ^^^^This isn't very good advertising for going that route though.

Order the correct style/length and u wont have that problem.

Mine looks and fits like it came from the factory, zero complaints. I have two from them.

Mine is a 6 inch length but im SD tune.. I also have a 102 102 setup but order the correct one so dont have have to clamp it on, just slides on and fits snug.

I bought the one that they suggested for 98-02 F-Bodies. I'm also still running a MAF. I can see where it would be fine for SD. The angle it takes from the MAF to TB and the tight space it is there its putting a lot of pressure on my air lid. This is making it where the tabs are barely under the provisions for them on the air lid base.
