ls6 throttle by size?

Default ls6 throttle by size?

what's the biggest throttle body I can run on a ls6 intake? I know vets have a 78mm but would a 80mm fit or would I have to port it.thanks for the help

You can port (and polish) your stock 76mm thottle body into a 80mm. You can also buy a 80mm throttle body from BBK for a good price. Biggest TB I know you can run is a 92mm.

80 is the biggest with out it not being wasted as 80mm is the maximum opening on a ls6 intake anything over would not be utilized.

it is a professional products 80mm and it was brand new still in the box when I got it. retailed for 252.00 on summit and I got it for 51.00+25.00 for shipping. i'm just doing some tinkering to see if it helps.got a 85mm maf sensor for 45 for the junk yard to go with it. 121.00 in all
