I haven't, but it's reasonable to expect some megaphone
action on any valvetrain clatter in the heads. My motor
got a bit noisier across the cam / heads swap and not
noticeably more on the plastic->aluminum intake swap.

I have never heard any sound increase with any of the aluminum intake cars I have seen.

This is the second motor this intake has been on and I do recall having a similar noise on the previous one. I have been all over this motor with a stethoscope and can't really pin it down.
It seems to be coming from the top of the motor. I can hear some rocker arm noises but this is something different. I may see if I can find a composite intake to see if it goes away. The motor is not stock. It is forged, cam and heads.
