Hey yall. Its me again. been kinda busy with work and getting ready for a new little girl.
I dint know if any of yall remember that muffler plan from when i was in tech that kinda...well...flopped. well,I have all the materials cut out, laid out and getting ready to weld it all together.
but, i cant remember if exhaust pipe is measured in O.D. or I.D.(Outside Diameter/Inside Diameter). could someone clue a brotha in?

These mufflers will be a "rip and spin" off chambered mufflers I'm trying to make up my mind on 1 thing. maybe yall can help.

should i put a perforated pipe in the merge between the inlet of the muffler and the inlet of the reflection chamber? idea being it would help better channel the spent exhaust into the chamber while also help with promoting the low exhaust note. sounds crazy but think about it.

I'm doing this all out of carbon steel. simply because its cheaper to but than stainless. also,it will be a 3" offset inlet,3" center outlet. then after all i done,we will talk "give away".

It's O.D. on the exhaust pipe.
So are you building your own muffler, you have anything visual you can post up (I'm not sure what you're really talking about) ?

as far as a picture,if im so cheap,im building my own mufflers...lmao
If I get enough money after bills, ill get a camera.

for a good start, ive decided to start off with a flowmaster design. but,I will be changing some internal features. the way im constructing them, they should flow very well and sound great. The internal construction will reflect the inlet/outlet pipe diameter,as far as flow capabilities.
