Default Please Help

I just did the throttle body bypass succesfully by running a hose from the radiator to the steel tubing that goes into the heads. Unfourtuenitly the hose I was using had a leak in it. I went to replace it today during lunch and accidently broke the plastic spout on the radiator off.

What the hell do I do? Do I have to buy a new radiator??? Has this every happened to anyone before? I tried fixing it in my work parking lot so i am now about 3 miles away from home, how do I even get the car home???

You could use some plastic epoxy that any auto parts store should carry. It should hold just as strong as if it were never broken at all. It would harden in about 30 minutes. I would just dab some epoxy between the two pieces then hold them together a dab some more around the crack inside and out if you can reach it.

Dry it off good and try what's mentioned above.

Make sure not to seal the coolant passage hole in the nipple (heh) with the epoxy.

If this is the overflow bung, it's not going to lose
you too much coolant (close to none if you have
fans set low, will burp plenty w/ stock fans).

I found a new epoxy type of thing the other
week which is specially meant for plastic, it smells
like it has a lot of solvent in it (for bite I guess)
and seems to grab better than regular epoxies on
plastic stuff. One of those dual-syringe deals.
I'd first scuff-sand all around the root, then get
the piece glued back on at the break, and once
set do a build fillet all around its base for strength.
