High Flow Cats and Y Pipe Stainless Works
I have a 2002 SS and my cats are blowing apart and rattling. I do not want headers on this car. I'm looking to replace the cats as well as the factory drunken bent y-pipe. I found this setup which looks good and is reasonable.

Anyone have this by any chance?

I've never had this StainlessWorks catted Y-pipe, but I do know they make a quality product. IMO, once you do a test fitment and find the best positioning of the pipes on the cats I'd have them fully welded around the pipes that mount to the cats to avoid any possible leaks that can throw off the AFR.

So I had this setup installed and the 3 inch pipe that hooks up to the pipe just before the muffler was banged up when trying to disconnect it to connect to the new y-pipe. Now I need to replace that pipe as I get a backfire on occasion. I'm on Long Island and I have been researching exhaust places that handle stainless steel pipe and have a mandrel bending machine. I was considering going to United Exhaust in Ronkonkoma. Has anyone used them?
