exhaust help Hi all new member here I have a heavily power starved ws6 with what I think are hooker headers to slp loudmouth exhaust all the way back. It was too loud for me so I swapped the slp resonator for whatever the muffler shop had lying around and now that I got a tune dan maslic of masport told me the engine is struggling to get air out at 5k rpm so my question would be obviously its that skinny resnator thats causing the restriction so I wanna swap it out what would be the best route? Should the resonator be replaced with a magnaflow muffler maybe? Or should I straight pipe that section and put a muffler at the end? I want maximum air flow but the quietest setup thank you guys!
Well I had a LM1 resonator up in I-pipe section, and I switched it out to a Magnaflow 14419 muffler. That and I added a Flowmaster merge pipe as well. The sound is MUCH better while still being pretty damn loud. What is the size of the muffler that you have on right now?

There are no mufflers atm its basically straight pipe loudmouth exhaust with a skinny resonator thats killing flow im thinking of getting that magnaflow you posted would it be good to put it where this resonator was
