CHECK OUT THE SPECS DIRECTLY FROM SCORPION:

-Fail Safe Design – Offset throttle shafts provide a fail-safe function so throttles CANNOT stick in the open position
-Maximum Flow – 2000 cfm
-Fits all 4150 applications, as well as standard open plenum manifolds
-Standard 5” air filter flange
-Only throttle body that fits between all fuel rails, overall width is 6.9”
-Compact Low Profile Design – The lowest profile on the market, overall part height is 1.4”
-No External Springs
-Extra Vacuum Ports – Two 1/16” npt on front, one 1/8” npt on front, two 1/8” npt on rear
-Sealed Throttle Shaft Bearings
-Throttle Position Sensor – American-made!
-Idle Air Control Motor – American-made!
-Smooth yet Strong - Performs like a dream on the street, but like an animal on the track
-Light Weight Aircraft Aluminum
-Polished & Anodized – For additional protection, wear characteristics and corrosion resistance
Yeah those are bad ***, flow just as good as a 4500 and are low profile but are on backorder unfortunately.

That testing was pretty inconclusive imo. To make it a fair test you would need to have a custom cam for each intake. The nitrous testing imo was also irrelevant since he changed jetting too it looked like? This would be a cool test for some site sponsors, great chance to ***** out custom cams and intakes haha.

4 2.00 holes might move 2K with no blade or shaft and pulling 35"+, you can have do what you want, and have it be true. Just like electric fans, water pumps, heads.

Look at what ever other 2.00 4 hole TB moves, and why it takes a 2.25 on a 4500 pattern to move 2K at 28" as a more standard to compare a number.

Dave, the Scorpion TB is what I'll get if I go with the Super Vic. The flow is great and it's low profile design seals it for me. When I checked a month or so ago, they were in stock on a site I found, but haven't checked since then.

I'd check with Mike @ FSKSpeed. That guy can get his hands on damn near anything, and gives us good deals.

Thanks for the info brotha. I've got to get this intake swap done this winter. Those heads are begging for a better, free flowing, intake setup. Plus, a much bigger cam suited for the heads and intake setup.

Mike is who I bought my supervic from and he is also the one who checked on the scorpion tb for me but found they were on backorder. This was a few months back so things may have changed, idk. I ended up buying a used 4150 tb for the time being. He gave me a sweet deal on the intake btw...

Pressure can do wonderful things.

Go 4500 and don't look back, leave the marketing gimmicks for the Tornado throttle body thingy's.

I saw the those scorpion TB out at PRI like 2009? Then a few places got a few and sold them, don't know anyone that has been "selling" them in the last few years. I might be wrong, but it seams like one of those parts thats on back order from the suppler for 3-5months then the week that date comes gets "updated" shipping out another 4-6 months. There might be one sitting on a shelf somewhere but I know some people that have wanted to get one last 3 years and never got one after paying that game.

The accufab TB are very nice, they make them for FAST that only sells them in red. I have one and know some others, and they are very nice. Come with everything, all secors, gasket, wiring adapter to plug to your stock harness. just hook the throttle cable and tune. I would look into those, for a nice TB you can get easy.

My accufab/fast 4500 works wonderful.. IMO if there was anyway for a 4150 tb to move 2kcfm accufab, Wilson woulda been doing it...
