Default Tap oil oan

Can I use earls bulkhead fittings to tap either the oil pan or the timing cover.

If you mean to drill a hole in the oil pan and timing cover and tap them, I think the walls will be too thin.

My oil pan walls are just over .100" thick and I doubt the timing cover is any thicker.

Buy a welded bung in the size you need and find a local welder in the yellow pages..

Guy charged me $60 to weld 3 bungs into my radiator and trans pan..
