I took mine to an exshuast shop and had him push the floor pan of the car up just slightly with a tranny jack, and had him knotch out the K-member. No more banging, noise, or rubbing. I am very happy with the work he did and the headers.

For what it's worth, my K-member had to be notched to fix some slight fitment issues on my Jet-Hots. And they were $515 (shipped) last year. The K-member just likes to get in the way!

What do you guys mean when you say "notch out" the Kmember? I'm having the same issue as TA12sec is having...

I've got Pacesetters and I didin't have to notch anything out for the headers.. my ORY has some vibrations/banging, but no issues with the headers.

do you realize how old this thread is ?
Pacesetters revised their headers (I think roughly a year ago), so they stay away from your kmember.

but if you still have the issue.. just take a sawall, or whatever. cut out a V-shaped piece, roughly a quarter of an inch deep, where the headers come in contact with the kmember. that should take care of it

I'm still going with the Pacesetter LT's, but have decided to go with TSP's ORY since it fits with PS headers but doesn't bang (hence the reason TSP made it).
