Default Exhaust help.

I currently have an 02 Z28. Im running pacesetter longtubes with an ORY and a slp catback that the muffler has been swapped out with a magnaflow bullet. Any suggestions on what catbacks would be a little quieter? Would a oval magnaflow catback be quieter than the bullet style muffler I have now?

I have that exact same setup actually, but with a Flowmaster merge pipe welded in place of the crappy Pacesetter merge on the headers. It really helped as far as eliminating the rasp, and making for a smoother deeper sound. It was only like $50 dollars to boot. Might want to check that out

Would this be the correct flowmaster merge?

^^agree, but good luck on finding someone wanting to part with it. The Hooker Aerochamber is pretty quiet.

I think you need the 2 3/4 inlet for the pacesetter ORY

A bit confused. What size would I need? If that wasn't the correct one could you send me a link to the correct size I would need?

If you go with the 4" outlet you will have to neck it back down (unless you plan on going 4" over axle. Either way, I did the FM merge and it drastically reduced the rasp!
