Default Carb Spacer

I have been told many time by several different people that if I put a Victor Jr. intake and a 4150 t/b on my Ls1 I should get as tall of a carb spacer as I can fit under the hood. I know the Super Victor has longer runners and is approx. an inch taller than the Jr. Does that thought process of adding a spacer between intake and t/b still hold true for the Super Victor intake?
