Default Fast 92?? Slp lid or Ftp lid

I have a fast 92 intake monifold that I'm going to install on my ls1, I heard the Ftp lid is a better option recommended over the slp lid? Any of you guys running ftp lids on a fast 92? I want to know the difference between them slp or ftp with a fast 92?

I would go with ftp 98mm lid, 85mm ls6/zo6 maf combo. Optimize the flow. ...

If you're going to use the stock MAF, then go with the SLP lid. If you are going to go with a bigger MAF, like the 85mm LS6/Z06, then get the bigger FTP 98mm lid.

I'm not running a maf but I had the slp lid on for a while and I liked the durability of it, probably the best one on the market as far as that goes but not the biggest lid. Haven't ha any problems from my FTP 104 lid

I upgraded everything during the build. You don't need the ftp lid though.

Thanks guys you have good points, but I'm just gonna run the ftp lid with the 85 maf just to cut to the chase instead of changing it then having to retune it again.

I like the FTP for the shape and the fitment at the back. When you put your lid on, look under the outlet at the back, specifically at the fitment to the filter. I discovered even with the provided gasket, that the SLP had a little bit of a gap between the bottom of the lid and the sealing surface of the filter. My FTP does not. FYI, MTI was absolutely awful at this gap.

I've had 3 or 4 different lids over the years and the ftp lid fits the best by far. The 85mm maf slides right into the ftp lid and with some elbow grease you can use the stock bellow on the fast 92. The lid seals real good and every time you pop the hood you don't have one of the lid clips popped off
