how do I know if my ls6 valley cover has a built in pcv valve? I did the ls6 valley cover swap and don't know what yr it is or what car it came from. need help.

I see but is there anyway to tell if the pcv is built in or do I need to put one inline. from what I found by searching is that the newer ls6 valley cover has the pcv built in and the older ones do not. Do u know when the yr change was and how to tell if mine is newer or older? I'm trying to contact the guy I bought it from to see what yr and car it's from

Ok I talked to the guy that I bought it from after digging thru paypal and he said it was from a 04 gto. So it should have the pcv internally.
Next question just to be sure could I blow in the hose to the valley cover? It shouldn't let air back in right?
