You can do it yourself. The key is to carefully get rid of the ridges in the runners & then just port match to head ports.

i actually went through a situation like this not long ago.
I have a 99 ls1 with an aluminum ls2 intake so i ported the **** out of it! haha
but one thing that your going to have to remember is if your going ls2 intake then you have to go ls2 TB as well meaning 96mm^ and it must be a 4bolt rather than our traditional 3bolt.
your better or getting a custom 4 bolt pattern ls2 TB which is drive by cable not DBW!
and going DBW is alot more complicated, having to buy a wiring harness adapter for the conversion and you must have your TB calibrated properly due to having the pedal actually control your plate now.

1999 z28 camaro ls6 cam & crank, hardened pushrods&rockers,ported 853's (past 241's) 3.43, ls2 intake, 101mmTB, fast fuel rails, 32# inj, LT's, X-pipe, dynomax bullet mufflers,

So you're saying a ported LS2 intake out flows a ported LS6? I've never heard that

It's worthless to port a ls6, the gains are teeny tiny
