my upcoming spring project, thoughts? looking to do some work to my Trans Am in the spring, I want to do the LS6 valley cover PCV mod, and get a LS6 intake manifold w/EGR(gotta love emissions in my state) Ive read about the cutting I'll have to do for the valley cover. Has anyone done both of these? Just looking to get some input before I start, oh and getting a Borla adjustable cat-back after I'm done this. So hopefully some increase in power as I'll have more air going in and more coming out. Thanks

I love my Borla adjustable. But it get REALLY raspy (not SLP loudmouth raspy) and it can get a little untamed sounding. I would recommend going with the GMMG catback exhaust. They sound AWESOME with long tubes and an ORY or even catted Y pipe.

a friend of mine told me about the borla adjustable, it would sound raspy with an offroad pipe, but sound good with an OEM Y. I heard one (OEM Y) on youtube, absolutely loved it. I wonder how much of a difference in sound there is between a borla adjustable and a non-adjustable.
I did the LS6 PCV conversion and it wasnt as bad as some people were saying..
I cut the block in 5 minutes with a good adjustable dremel and new cutoff wheel.
the hardest part about the whole thing was taking my time in getting the intake manifold off... leave it to the general to stick half the engine under the cowl.
