if you remove the cats, it will definitely be a lot louder, and will also have more rasp in the 2000-2800 rpm range, especially with the SLP Loudmouth exhaust you have..

"Keep your CATS" if you remove them, the rasp will make you hate your car.. Well, I definitely do.. I'm in the process of gathering highflow cats and a Borla XR-1 to refine my exhaust..
Good luck!

I went with SLP LT's ORY and a Loudmouth and it sounded absolutely STUPID! I drove the car 4 miles and parked it until I could find a better cat-back. You can remove the resonator and use a 18" Dynomax Bullet, I heard that works well. I went the a Magnaflow (sounds awesome) and a cutout (fo the strip).
The only problem with the Borla XR-1 is sixe. My car is dropped 1" and it would be near IMPOSSIBLE not to drag that muffler on the ground.
