160 tstat a good decision?? Just did a h/c package thru rapidmotorsports but the car feels a little sluggish on warm days!
mike said i should try a 160 tstat, but from my limited knowledge, i remember being told the ls1 is better to run at stock temps.
is this true or should i try and run the 160...i am only concerned with the engines durability!

DO IT! 
180 is the nominal rating of the stocker.
Do you have a cold air induction setup? PCM
pulls timing above 98F IAT (mid-MAP) to 104F
(higher MAP). This is the more likely culprit
in warm-day-sluggishness.
