Mine was made from a pvc joint with 2 pvc caps, 2 brass fittings, and a steel scrubber to help filter the oil from air.

Feed tube comes straight down, exit fitting is on the side and higher than where the feed inlet ends. The metal scrubber is crammed up against the feed inlet so air has to go through it to be pulled back to the top of the can and out the exit:

Once I painted it black it disappears in the engine bay since it's only a few inches tall and about 2"diameter. Cost about $6 to make and works like a charm. The only complaint I have is the bottom cap is hard to get out to dump it. I want to find a small aluminum container of similar size with a threaded cap and make a new one.
