Default ls1 timing off?

hey guys so i started a few threads last summer trying to figure out why my car was running lean (per what my tuner told me) my thread is here

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-ls6-swap.html

i am still trying to figure out what is wrong with it since spring is around the corner and i really want this thing back up and running, my question is if the timing for the cam is off a little bit could that cause the entire drivers side to run lean???

If its just one side running lean then Id say no. I would look into an intake or exhaust leak. Maybe an injector on that bank clogged or stopped up. O2 sensor not cycling through the full voltage range. Its probably gonna be specific to that side of the engine not the cam as that is related to both sides. This is all only my opinion though.

the problem is the entire driver side being lean so i dont think its just one injector causing the issue, its so frustrating trying to figure out what is going on with it especially since the car is not tuned for the heads and cam and i cant get it tuned till i figure out why its running lean.
