IS it worth porting a LS6 intake to ported LS1 heads?

yeah i would say thats about right, But going by the Orange camaro in The GM high tech mag he tuned in at around 650, No Meth, and after installing a True 3" duel exhaust and intake, up graded fuel system with return line he made 810rwhp! , Now im not sure if the 650 was all out or if they had to shut her down because of lack of fuel, I would have to find the mag and read it again. But all said and done she picked up a **** load of power, the D1-sc was maxed out using the 3.4 blower pulley and she made 17-18 psi , they said it was the exhauts that free up most of the power, and what really sucks is the Kooks 3" duel exhaust never mind being so dam expensive it only bolts up to there headers, Im running old school FLP (finish line performance) long tubes, there not equal length but are real nice, i had them Jet hot coated Black also the Y-pipe , and they fit very well the Y pipe is only 2.5" but the headers have a 3" collector, so a better Y pipe could be made, Tests back in the day only showed The FLP making 5 horse less if that ofer the SLP equal length headers that scraped the ground, so they flow pretty good, the bad thing with the power im making is the tiny 2.5 Y pipe and the hour glass bottle neck 2.5 to 3" merge, its only good for up to 500 hp and i think that was at the motor not rear wheels

Geoff E-mailed me back, he said his 215/230 cam will pull to 6,800 rpm, he was thinking valve float or some kind of restriction, but i have a good Texas Speed duel/double spring kit so its not that, its the LS6 stock intake and my exhaust backing up

IMO, If you have stock rocker arms on it I'd focus on the exhaust.

Yeah i have new stock rockers with harlem sharp bearing upgrade, there real nice pieces after they do the bearing upgrade , i have them also on my LS2 thats in my buick
