Default Whose exhaust is this?

Can you tell me how hard it would be to modify the floorboard like this. Would it be very noticable to the rear passengers when they have a seat?

Thanks..

Alright.. the reason I asked the question whose exhaust this was is because I'd like to know how to do this:

I'm gonna be running those mufflers and I'd like for mine to tuck that nicely also..

How much work is involved with a floorboard modification like that?

looks like all you need is a BFH for that type of modification.

OMG! If you want it to look like that it is simple take a Hammer and go to beating! I would think that you could come up with another exhaust set up that did not require you to do damage like that to your car. Even if it is a race car only I would figuer out something else to do to get duals. You could cut the whole section out and place smooth sheet metal over the area and remove the back seat area real nice. Just a few suggestions. If you choose the first method you could start with a floor jack in those areas and then come back with the Big Hammer. Good luck on what ever you are trying to do.

Wow, dude really mashed his floor pans.

O/T: Why don't folks seem to notice all those lines right there on the driver's side. It can't be good having exhaust pipe/muffler right under the fuel and brake lines heating things up.
Just an observation.

This is how those mufflers look without damaging the floorboard..

By the way, this is Pro Stock John's old setup.. I'm just worried that this may be a little too low? Has anyone seen a Camaro with dual muffler mounted right where the tips exit?

How would that look since the Camaro doesn't have the rear valence like the Trans Am?

Thought I fixed that. I'll look into it.

Its a series of pictures of the boom tube on my SS. No banging or hammering involved and plenty of clearence for most people. I am pretty damn low though so I do have to avoid any place with speed bumps.

What are you trying do? Trick people? I think the before the axle dumps are just a wee bit quieter.

I have heard the video clip of your car. It's ungodly wicked sounding.I'd imagine it would have to sound like a NEXTEL CUP car on the street

It is absolutely bad ***

Yes.. it's Lane's work.. How could you tell?

I'd like to see what the rear seats in this car look like now.. I know that people go with mufflers that are 4" thick.. would a 4.5" thick muffler be pushing it?

This is a true dual setup with 4" thick oval mufflers. What do you guys think?

I used 3" Flowmasters. Summit PN FLO-325508. 3"x8"x10" Work great, sound sweet, I have them as dumps, with no floorpan mods and have had 4 adults in the car and it never scraped.
