Default Which head bolts??

Be searched and couldn't find a good answer so sorry if this has been beat to death. I'm got a 1999 z28 I'm about to swap my ported 799's over and noticed two different head bolts for the ls1. I have a 1999 car but I bought a GM crate ls1 back around 2011-2012 and had put in. So would I use the post 2004 head bolts or the pre 04? Thanks in advance
,Derek

if the motor was brand new from gm in 2011 it should use the 04-up style

Wouldn't hurt to have a set of each available to you if possible. Then return the ones you don't need.

Some of the large head bolts for the 04+ blocks are shorter. Your block uses the 04+ bolts.
