Default LM2 muffler into SLP CME catback?

Looking to replace the SLP D/D in my CME I think it's way too quiet. I was going to use the Magnaflow muffler I bought but changed my mind since I don't think I'm doing headers for a while.

Just wondering if a bullet style muffler, in particular the LM2, will mount up into this center mount? I was looking under the car and it doesn't look like it would just be as easy as plug and play.

Thanks for any help.

If you removed cats and put in a decent cam, the CME
would not be too quiet. It's got a nice note and plenty
loud when you get on it, if the rest of the path is opened
up.

I've heard it in person with an O/R Y and LT's. Wasn't bad and I know it sounds good when you get on it but I think it's just still too docile. Thanks for your input though.

I ran LT's with ORY with the dual dual, stock cam, and it was quiet as ****. Only time is was loud was WOT. I wish i could put a cam in my car but sadly it isnt in the cards as my car is a Daily.

Im telling you man just buy the LM2 and have a shop install to fit the CME. It will sound much better.

i would do LT headers, ORY the factory CME with an E cutout in the i pipe...best of both worlds. ive had SO many f body exhaust combos (borla, corsa, hooker, slp LM) and that by far is best all around. the stock cme catback flows plenty good so save the money for the LT ory. or just buy the electric cut out for now and you'll be plenty satisfied. the only other exhaust i would run would be kooks True Duals but its pricey to do all at once.
