Even at the bottom (around the collectors)? I know the primaries usually remain looking good but it's the other end that starts to flake off...maybe cleaning/polishing them will help.

I loved my jet hots I hated the Y pipe. It is your choice it is easier for us to spend your money than our own LOL! Jet Hots and a custom Y would be the way to go if you are trying to save some money. If your main concern is lasting for 100 yrs then go with the all stainless header Kooks or QTP's.

I got My Kooks in 2-3 weeks from Matt @ TTP. The fit awesome. The high flow cats with Y-pipe give no rasp, Just a deep muscle car sound. Sounds Mean as all hell At WOT. Get the best.

I have the Kook's with the catted Y. My wait was exactly 3 weeks. Best desicion I could have made as far as headers go. They do cost more, but you pay for what you get. I also have them hooked up to GMMG. Best sounding exhaust in the world IMO. If you want to hear a sound clip go to www.ls1sounds.com click on GMMG and listen to the clips with the Kook's.

Im telling you, the Kooks are the way to go. Save your coke money, it will add up, whatever it takes because you wont regret it. The Stainless Kooks look totally sweet and they fit up higher then the Jet Hots. No scrapping anymore!!
