Which flanges should I use to connect end of headers to x-pipe?
Im gathering up all the supplies for my true duals so when I go to have them built, I will have everything but the piping. Im not sure what all flanges are out there, but I was wanting to get some opinions on which ones to use. I dont want to use the ones that FLP uses because theyre too pricey for me. Anyhow, let me know what you think. Thanks.

Most importantly, if you are using stainless pipe, you'll want to find stainless flanges, if you are using steel there are lots of choices. Check magnaflow's site, Jegs, etc.

i used 3 bolt flanges. makes the exhaust very easy to drop off. if you go this route, however, make sure you get some good gaskets. i first had some crap paper gaskets and they blew out. then i got some percy's seal for good and they havn't leaked since. the percy's are made of a soft aluminum and garunteed to not blow out.

Stainless steel band clamps are out of the picture because theres no way Im spending that kind of money on that. If I was just to connect the front of the x-pipe to the end of the headers, I would have to buy 2 kits which are $42 a piece!!! So right off the bat, Im looking at $84, just for 2 stainless steel band clamp kits. I dunno, it would look nicer and would be easier to install and uninstall, but thats extremely pricey! Anyone have pics of the 2 and 3 bolt flanges installed? Thanks. By the way, are there any flanges out there besides the v-band that dont use a gasket?
