Is There A Catback With 0 Rasp????
Oh yeah the Loud Mouth has no rasp either.

I had an slp 2otl and it had a really bad rasp when I removed the cats. With the cats it was OK.
I went to a hooker (still no cats) and it was nearly rasp free. I added a bullet in the I and the rasp is gone.
The worst ever is my friends ws6 with a Borla, headers and no cats.
nope not kidding at allllll...... haha just playin
i have that setup minus the headers and it is still raspy as hell, but i like it so its all goood ?!?! Thats the funniest thign Ive ever heard.

Duals with crossover give the best sound...and for the price of an expensive cat-back plus a Y-pipe I'd just get duals
If it were rasp it would be more audible with the windows open right?
I run the SLP D/D, with LT's AND cats and I definitely hear rasp. Its not bad, but its definitely noticable.
Perhaps there's some persons in this thread that doesn't know what rasp is???

ANY LS1 F-body running a no cat Y-pipe set-up will have some raspy/poppy sounds to it no matter what cat-back system it is going through. It's just that some systems like the SLP dual/dual or Hooker only have a little rasp this way while others such as the Borla, SLP Loudmouth, Flowmaster, or cutouts have a ton of raspiness in their tone. And most of the other cat-back options out there are somewhere in between the exhausts I just mentioned. Putting a Dynomax Bullet Muffler in the I-pipe will help some, but doesn't get rid of it entirely.
The ONLY way to basically have a rasp free exhaust set-up with no cats on an LS1 F-body is to run TRUE DUALS using either an X or H-pipe. Totally gets rid of that nasty rasp and sounds flat out intimidating on most cars. Nothing sounds better or meaner IMHO...
