header install help. Working on installing pacesetter on the driver side and cannot get the steering shaft off. I have both bolts out and it won't budge, I've tried PB and dead blow too. Is this how it is supposed to come out? Is there another way to get the header up there? Can I grind off that tab on the motor?
There have been some instances where people have replaced the steering racks with rebuilt LT1 units thanks to unknowing parts countermen. They bolt right in; however, they mess up the alignment of the steering shaft.
