Drove around today and had no banging from the catted Y-Pipe. The fit and finish is outstanding and could not be happier.

Hardtop: My car is not lowered.

nikon1999: I have noticed more low end. Maybe it is me, but I notice more zip around town. Call Barry@QTP and, let him know I sent you, hopefully he can set you up with some top notch headers.

I just got the same headers and for some reason the driver side wont go up. We removed the filer, plug, and steering knuckel, still no dice. We got it about 3.5ft off the ground. Any ideas?

What do you mean "the driver side wont go up."? Do you mean the "bottom," or collector of the header is scraping the ground as you attempt to angle it in? If so you need to get the car up higher. I did mine with jackstands in my garage and had to improvise with a 4x4 chunk of wood on my jack to get the very last notch on the six ton jackstands I used in order for it to go in. Good luck. It seems as though people on this board who have the luxury of a lift don't complain at all about this kind of thing.

I had my car off the ground 19" and they went up in. The collector will be vertical when it goes up in. Then a little twisting and you should have it. Can you see what the header is hitting?

It's because you need to cut the aluminum block off the engine. Look up there and you will see it; about a 1" chunk of aluminum that has absolutely no purpose. Just cut it off with a "SawsAll" or a die grinder, and the headers will go right in. Good luck!
