Intake Hoses Part Number Needed
I hear ya. If you found what you need for a better shipping rate, you did what I and most of us do when buying stuff. I stopped at what I found without looking further-I just wanted to see if it could be had.

Well, it fits. Took some finangaling to get it on the TB just right due to the piece being a straight design, but it woks great. Much cleaner look too. I will take a picture in the morning when I have better light. Hope this thread helps anyone who has a stock TB and SLP lid who has deleted the MAF. This is the part you'll need.

Look into what these guys have. They have every ID and length you could ever need. The quality of the piece is great. It's very sturdy and nothing is going to tear and nothing is going to penetrate it. With that said, it's still flexible enough to maneuver in order to get it on the lid neck and then on the TB. It looks nice too, as it's a gloss black color.

I think you can get by with the 4" ID 6" long silicone hose that I'm using. Yes, there is a small degree of bend there, but this hose is flexible enough to make it work.

I got to take the car out yesterday since Saturday's weather was shitty because I wanted to make sure the hose stayed in place, and to see if I could notice any difference. My car is SD tuned, but I had left the MAF on the car (plugged in as well). I sold the MAF and put on the intakehose in the pics. The car seemed to be more responsive and when making WOT pulls, I could feel a "seat of the pants" difference.
