92mm tb to stock maf to 104 lid?
#2
I'm sure you can get the right couplers but quick question. Your using the stock maf? As I recall it's a 78 or 80 mm hole. Your going to go form 104mm to 78mm to 92mm? The maf is going to be a big restriction in your intake pipe if your using the stock ls1 maf.

Going speed density on your setup may be worth a few hp but not as much as a striker setup. Maybe 5-8 hp over a maf tune. A cheaper alternative would be doing a truck mad. Under 75 bucks, couplers are available and it won't be a restriction as the inside the mad is actually close to 91mm

which truck MAF?
If it would be cheaper and benefit in a way....I can always take it down to TiCK and get a retune.
I think I may need to do that cause of all the added air flow with a bigger Lid, TB and intake vs what i had before

BTW, 4 inch exhaust pipe fits perfect in your lid. You can delete your MAF, run a short piece of pipe to compensate and if you boil your bellow make it squeeze over both without much trouble.

The size I used was a 4" ID x 6" long silicone hose from intakehoses.com. It was a bit of a challenge getting it connected from the TB to the neck of the SLP lid, but with some encouragement, it works. The issue is it's not a 100% straight shot from the TB to the neck of the lid. Something with a slight bend would be best, but not 100% necessary if the silicone hose has some give to it.
