ps pump delete I'm wanting to just get rid of the power steering. Idk where the leak is coming from but it's already killed two alternators and I just want it gone
I already have the belt and pulley replacement from this picture I pulled from another website
But I can't find any info on how to remove everything. Are there any holes or anything I'll need to plug up?
If anyone can help me with what I'll need or just give me a link that actually gives step by step instructions that would be great.
98 trans am, I just want it gone. I know it's not dd friendly but oh well

Get a mustang rack or order a manual rack. Its actually a little bit lighter iirc. Assuming you didn't already delete the ps pump cooler just get a new radiator hose going from the top of the radiator to the engine.

I read somewhere the 98/99 ta/z28 didn't have ps cooler.... If I had one where would it be? And no I haven't removed anything yet, it was WAY too hot yesterday, and I'm lazy today as I have work tonight lol

My bad i didn't see the year lol so your probably right. All ya need to do is follow the lines to find out. But you can order the new rack from Summit or try and find a manual rack in the junk yard.

Why would u say loop the lines or leave them open but don't plug them? If leaving the holes open could damage it, why wouldn't I want to cap/plug them
If you plug the holes pressure will build up in the rack and you won't be able to turn. Just loop the lines together like everyone else does.

just stick some NPT barbed fittings in them and connect the two with some heater hose..
Here's a thread from back when I did it with pics. It's kind of expensive, but it works and is still on the car. I'll probably be "reversing" the procedure in a few months though.

Awesome thanks... but what are these lines too right here? When I was mocking up my set up with the pulley and belt, there was a bracket or something attached to the two lines I have circled that were touching the belt and most likely would have rubbed against it and cut belt in half
