Shorty Header Question

Who makes the best "shorty" headers for an LS1??? Is antone noticing a really big loss or gain going with a "shorty" header???

I have seen 2 sets put on at the shop I use. One on stock money with absolutely no mods - actually lost power and the guy had them removed in favor of going back to stock; the other was on supercharged "stock" engine. He didn't get half the gain he should have. IMO don't waste your time and money. There is a lot of people that will disagree with me, but for a few more dollars you can go with the long tubes. Again IMO the long tubes is the way to go.

If you have a 01/02 don't bother.
98-99-00 get the BBK 1 3/4 if you really want a shorty. Might get 10/12 rwhp

Does Michigan law prohibit you to have LT's or at least MACs?
