Did you install your own, or the SLP one?

I had that same issue when I installed the SLP fan switch. It also was making the car idle very low and occasionally stall. I had to go back and forth with them a little bit, but eventually they sent me a replacement that has worked flawlessly for 3 years. Never did find out what exactly was wrong or what code it was tripping.

Probably a faulty one. Sometimes there are problems with the resistors/elecronics in the switches that causes problems. I'd contact SLP after getting the code checked.

if you bent it too much, you could have cracked some of the wires in the electronics that are heat shrunk into that switch.

if you have a multimeter, send me an e-mail ryan212@aol.com and i'll tell you how to test it.

if not, just send it back to and request a new one.

Ryan.

Sounds like a bad switch. Contact SLP and tell them what happened and they may suggest an solution, or have you send it back to them for a replacement.

I bet they will. If they sell you a switch that doesn't work, it's their fault, used or not. If you take the switch and use it to play baseball then things might be different. As long as you didn't damage it, they should replace it, if not, you should never deal with them again.
