I had that same issue when I installed the SLP fan switch. It also was making the car idle very low and occasionally stall. I had to go back and forth with them a little bit, but eventually they sent me a replacement that has worked flawlessly for 3 years. Never did find out what exactly was wrong or what code it was tripping.
if you bent it too much, you could have cracked some of the wires in the electronics that are heat shrunk into that switch.

Verdad Gallardo I bet they will. If they sell you a switch that doesn't work, it's their fault, used or not. If you take the switch and use it to play baseball then things might be different. As long as you didn't damage it, they should replace it, if not, you should never deal with them again.
