Default How to get 400HP?

I want to know how to hit the 400 HP mark. My 2002 already has an SLP lid, K&N filter, SLP y pipe, and loud mouth. Also has shifter, sfc, stb, panhard bar, lcas, lca brackets, torque arm, poly trans mount, ds loop, and BMR springs. 2002 came with the LS6 intake. This car has made 327 rwhp on the dyno as it is. Thinking about a cam and spring pkg but will try bolt ons first. No n2o.

Headers for sure. Just to help along with the dyno numbers if thats all your shooting for I'd throw a under drive pulley, 85mm maf, port the throttle body, and a 23x duration cam should put you right around that. Maybe a little more a little less on a dyno jet. I'll warn you if your running a Loudmouth 1 you need to swap the muffler after headers. I had that set up and absolutely hated it. Worst sound ever and the rasp was ridiculous. Just bolt ons won't get you 400rwhp.

N20 is the shortest answer but since you don't want to play I would go with headers as mentioned above because they have a huge gain and just add a healthy cam with it and you'll be right there when it's tuned.

Ditch the k&n. Get good quality headers( American Racing or Kooks). Hand pot throttle body. 228/230 cam with supporting valve train. Good dyno tune and your are real close. A good set of 243's on top that and you will be well over. If you have some more questions do a search this info is already everywhere.

Thanks. I'd def like a cam but need to find a reputable place to install at a decent price. Not sure if I want to tackle that myself

Lid+ headers+ true duals+ tune got my car to 355rwhp. Eventually I swapped in the MS3 and made well over 400. Full exhaust plus a decent sized cam will get you there easily. You could also go with some ported 243/241 castings and a smaller grind. That would easily achieve your goals.

All depends on what you want/how much you want to spend.
