Mounting the engine on the chasis
Mounting the engine on the chasis Guys,
TOmorrow Ill be mounting the engine on the chasis. Are there any final advice that i need to do while the engine and trans is out? I've tear apart the block, install new aftermarket cams, install new pushrods, degrease the engine and install it back with new head bolts, gaskets ect ect.
As far as the trans go, I installed new slave and new line to fit on my lsx swap. Are there anything else i need to do? Should i add oil and see to make sure there's no leak? Is it possible to test compression while it's cold?

You could pull the spark plugs and run the starter with a gauge on the oil galley to confirm oil pressure. Don't run the starter for more than like 45 seconds. If you have any oil cooling lines, they'll need to be installed or looped.
