Thumbs up kooks install done.

Finished up the install and Y-pipe tonite.I have about 4.5 hours in everything and couldn't be happier.I have a flowmaster A/T and the first 15 minutes the sound was not pleasing but after that it came around and sounds great.SOTP tells me thru normal driving torque has increased. Its nice with a stick because you can drive with less throttle and be totally stealthy but WOT is LOUD.Y-pipe took some jockey work but no banging or close issues, very high quality and fit.A+ kooks

It's good to hear everything fit well and that it is not banging the floorboards. I just ordered a set of kook's and they should be here next week, can't wait to install them. Did you have to do any cutting to get the y to fit? Some people have been saying they need to cut either the y or the intermediate pipe to get everything on.

I cut about 1/2" off the back of the Y to fit better and slid in place perfect to the catback. The drivers side header was angled up slightly but that side of the Y is ovaled and has no banging and more then 1/2" clearance everywhere,it actually looks like it was custom made for my car.I have more ground clearance then the stock setup with the basini Y I had before.Outstanding in every area.
