electric cutouts ??

I'm going to be running around a 300 shot I have hooker Lt headers 17/8 I think. Going into a x pipe would I benefit from cutouts?

Any other mods? Stock cubes? With a 300 shot planned, I would assume we're not talking about a stock bottom end with only exhaust mods.

Either way, the answer is likely "yes" you will benefit from a cutout, however the amount you could expect to gain would vary based on your setup.

I wouldn't bother since with an x pipe setup you'll have a better flowing exhaust compared to a y pipe setup.

You might gain 5-10 hp...then again maybe not....is that worth it...that's up to you
