coolant crossover

So im trying to figure out what route I should go with the steam crossover on my build. Ive heard blocking them off will fry your engine. Ive been told I need to block the rears and only connect the front of the heads.i still have the stock 4 corner crossover pipe and im putting a carb intake on so no worries about clearance.

No, blocking the rears will not fry your engine, most engines come from GM with the rears blocked.

Many builders, including me, prefer to utilize four corner cooling.
