All porting is not created equal.
This is CNC porting done precisely by a machine. It does not have the inconsistencies that hand porting can also create.

These porting profiles were tested on a flow bench to verify results so they are a proven repeatable result.

Anyone with a cartridge roll can make a throttle body shine... This may or may not cause any improvement in airflow. They can also ruin the precise area of the butterfly, making idle difficult or inconsistent.

The art of porting is knowing what works & what doesn't... Mostly through hours of testing & verifying.

Vmax is over hyped, most people can see through the BS they claim etc..... Yet there's more people coming to the light having issues with them and they are twice the price which I find kinda high but oh well.

If you search there are many independent magazine articles/tests confirming this result.
Many are listed on the Vmax website for your review.

As with any product there are many available options... if you like another product, then buy it. Its a free country. This is not politics, its free enterprise... no need for us to bash another competitor, even though we have enough test data of many competitors to do so.

Also SkWiDsTyLe321, you have the right to your opinion. If you want to buy the 1/2 price option, feel free... just don't make the incorrect statement that both are the exact same product. Until you own/operate a flowbench, or have independent back-to-back performance test results, you are not qualified to make that comment.

Lonnie, will VMax port an 87mm L92 truck TB?

 

Looks legit to me go on vmax website under videos they have a tb that was hand ported and they ran there program on it and it shaved alot off,now whether that little bit would make a diff or be worth any extra money is up to u but I'd like to know what I'm getting and with a hand port its just a guessing game to me.

 

Yes a L92 throttle body can be CNC ported.

Porting programs have been developed for virtually every LS application as well as some GM & Cadillac V6 applications.
