The mounting bracket of my dipstick broke, was going to just replace it when I found these, look and I assume function similar to a Lokar. Has anyone used one of these and did you have any problems with them? Figured for $30 was worth a try.

I have a Lokar transmission dipstick...piece of ****.
The hole is too small so most funnels will not fit and even when they do it takes forever to fill because fluids back up in the line and slowly drain into the transmission. I would be afraid of similar issues with the oil dipsticks too.

Yeah that's for sure, I have a similar but hard tube style on my GTA and sumbitch got hot! 
For $30 Ill give it a shot and report back... Ive spent more money on more stupid things before.

I have that same exact one. The damn thing broke off in the block when I was trying to install it. That was a royal pain in the *** to get out.
On the plus side they sent me another one for free. I didn't end up using it as I bought a chrome stock dipstick instead.

Just came in yesterday, seems like a pretty decent piece! Impressed with the quality, just wish it wasn't chrome lol. Hopefully we'll get a few days above freezing so I can mess with the cars a bit.
I had a hard time getting the end of the dipstick into the block. Ended up swapping the o-ring for one with a slightly smaller cross-section. Then I put a little bend in the upper mounting bracket and it fit perfectly.
